Thomas is a partner at CMS’ Russia and leads the Automotive group. Thomas Heidemann specialises in all areas of corporate law. His personal practice is divided between major transactions for key clients in Moscow and cross-border investment from and to Russia. His experience encompasses national and international private equity, M&A transactions, industrial and real estate investments in Russia, as well as advising Russian investors on German law.
Thomas has been dealing with Russian-German transactions since 1996. Since 2000, Thomas has been building up a Russian Desk in Dusseldorf, Germany, and was formerly Head of the CIS practice with offices in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kiev.
