Natalia has been leading the Moscow firm’s Energy practice for several years. She advised BP on the Sakhalin IV and V projects, including the setting up of a joint venture structure for the East Shmidt and West Shmidt areas (completed in April 2008). Natalia also acted for Gazprombank on the Gazprom-BASF AG asset swap deal. She regularly advises international oil and gas companies on regulatory issues, subsoil legislation and foreign investment legislation. Natalia’s experience in the power sector includes advising former RAO UES on various aspects of the development of the electricity market in Russia, and most recently, acting for an international energy company on a renewable project in Southern Russia.
Natalia has extensive M&A experience in Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan and has led due diligence teams on a number of significant projects.
Natalia holds a law degree from the State University of Belorussia and an LLM from Columbia University, New York. She is fluent in English. |
