Christophe Huet is a partner in CMS Russia’s Commercial team. His practice covers commercial law, corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, employment law and intellectual property.
For more than 10 years, he has been advising U.S., French and other European companies in relation to their investments in the Russian Federation, both in terms of direct investment, mergers, acquisitions of companies and assets and providing full legal assistance for such transactions, including due diligence, contract drafting and negotiation.
He has gained vast experience in various industries (consumer goods, banking and financial, pharmaceuticals, retail, hotels, etc.). In addition, he has been advising clients on employment issues in connection with their operations in the Russian Federation.
Christophe has been working in Russia since 1996.
Christophe holds an LL.B. in Judicial Careers from Toulouse University, an LL.B. in International Law from Paris I and an LL.M. in International Business Law from Paris II. Besides French, Christophe is fluent in English and Russian.
