Natalia is a partner in CMS, Russia and leads our Energy practice in Moscow. She has over 15 years of experience advising investors in the energy sector in Russia and CIS. She focuses on international energy transactions and has acted for international companies as well as Russian majors.
Natalia has advised BP on its offshore projects in Russia since 1997, including Sakhalin IV and V, and, most recently, a new project in the Arctic region. Natalia’s experience also includes acting for Gazprom on the multi-billion asset swap with BASF and advising Rosneft on its joint venture with Sinopec (Sakhalin III). Her experience in the power sector includes advising former RAO UES on various aspects of the development of the electricity market in Russia, acting for an international energy company on a renewable project in Krasnodar and advising a Russian developer on an IPP project in the Yaroslavl region.
