Irene Engel heads the Corporate practice of CMS in Moscow. She has been practising law since 1993. Her professional expertise encompasses major aspects of foreign investments into the Russian Federation. She specialises in advising foreign investors on international transactions with regard to corporate law, including national and international private equity and M&A transactions, joint ventures, restructuring, antitrust law and securities law.
Irene’s personal track record includes various corporate projects for major European and international companies in different sectors of the economy, such as: chemicals, engineering, real estate, natural resources, retail, airlines and hotels. She is fluent in English and German.
