 In June 2011 CMS, Russia hosted a regular meeting of the Customs, Logistics and Certification committee of the French Chamber of Commerce (CCIFR) in Russia. Main topic at the meeting was dedicated to Key issues in customs legislation: IP rights protection and application of the customs regime of the goods disctuction. More than 30 specialists took part in this meeting.
Olessia Akimtseva, Senior associate at CMS, Russia and an expert in IP rights spoke on Practical aspects of trademark enforcement by customs authorities.
During the meeting Gayk Safaryan, Senior associate at CMS, Russia was elected Chairman of the Committee for the years 2011-2012.
