CMS, Russia group on Energy Efficiency

Notwithstanding the fact that the Russian energy efficiency legislation is quite new (corresponding secondary legislation has not been fully adopted yet) and major projects have not emerged yet, CMS Energy group has already advised a number of clients on specific issues in this sphere, including Russian Ministry of Economic Development & EBRD.

Moreover, CMS tracks any legislative development in the area of energy efficiency and is at the forefront of energy efficiency matters by publishing various articles, reports and other publications both in Russia but also in the EU and CEE.

CMS is concerned as well about possible improvements of Russian legislation in the energy efficiency sphere and is actively involved in various working groups (including at Russian State Duma (Lower House of the Russian Parliament), the Association of European Businesses) and has organised numerous events (conferences, seminars, etc.) in this field.
