Artem Rodin has over 9 years of experience advising clients from both public and private sector on all legal aspects of Infrastructure and PPP projects (BOO, BOOT, concessions etc.) in public utilities, energy, transport and healthcare sectors, including advising on

  • project tenders, including drafting and reviewing of tender documents, negotiations with members of project consortium (banks, construction companies), governments and their advisors (financial, technical, insurance, legal), advising on JV and consortium agreements, bid submissions
  • concession, PPP and investment agreements, financing agreements and various security instruments in Project Finance (pledges, sureties, guarantees etc.) as well as other project contracts, including EPC and O&M contracts, delivery and service contracts, sale-purchase contracts, lease agreements and other related commercial contracts 
  • various legal issues arising from implementation and restructuring of projects, including refinancing, corporate and labor as well as antimonopoly, regulatory and environmental issues, licenses and approvals, land and ownership rights, labor, import, taxes, tariff regulation, dispute resolution etc.

Artem advises on implementation of projects for financing, construction and operation of water and wastewater treatment plants, waste treatment plants, chemical and automotive production plants and heat and power production plants using renewable energy sources, airports, hospitals as well as roads and railroads in Russia and abroad.

Artem holds a Master of International Law degree with honors and a PhD in law degree from the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. Artem is an advocate of the Moscow City Bar. Artem has a numerous publications on legal aspects of PPP in Russia and abroad. In addition to native Russian, Artem is fluent in English and German.
